We are the 2020 Master’s class in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. We are project coordinators, educators, film-makers, dancers, producers, musicians, translators, designers, actors and writers – nine emerging creators who are passionate about making art. Our fourth and final project looks different than what we had anticipated. Instead of creating this piece inside the walls of Guildhall, we have made it in our own homes, family homes, home countries and in the uncertain moves between all three.
It has taken us:
2,500 Slack messages,
1,343 cups of coffee or tea,
619 Google Documents,
160 hours of Team Calls,
96 wifi drop outs,
16 Slack channels,
Navigating 15 hours of time difference across 6 time zones and 3 continents.
Welcome to this Home. Enjoy, explore, imagine.
